Liverpool City Region exclusive

This project is exclusive to the Liverpool City region including Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens, Wirral and Halton. Here new digital technologies and expertise around implementation of digital tools will be available to local businesses and SME’s before any other region within the UK. This makes the project a fantastic and unique opportunity for any manufacturing company or digital technology developer looking forward to extend their competitive advantage and strength in product development.

What is involved in the LCR4 Project?

Firstly, the strapline for the project is ‘Together for Manufacturing’ as the five partners involved in the project are looking to work closely with a number of local businesses to ensure they are offered the very best support, research and knowledge to help them adopt these new and revolutionary technologies or find new markets for their digital innovations.

The project aims to bring together world-class practical support to transform the Liverpool City Region businesses in the manufacturing space through digital innovation. We also aim to help organisations involved in the project to increase productivity, de-risk innovation, optimise competitiveness and create smarter supply chains.

Objectives

The aim of the project is to support a number of local SME’s and to enable collaborations between businesses and partners which can be beneficial in knowledge transfer, support product development schemes, the creation of jobs in support and business and to create a virtual workspace for LCR for LCR4 manufacturing community.
